If you’ve ever joined a gym, you already know how to train your courage muscle inside Risk Fitness Club.
The goal isn’t to work out once. Rather, it’s to become someone who trains consistently.
Most people don’t wake up one day able to run a marathon, squat 300 pounds, or finish a difficult hike. They get there by showing up over and over again. They build strength one workout at a time, even on the days when they don’t feel particularly strong.
Courage works the same way.
That’s why Risk Fitness Club isn’t simply a library of communication tips or a collection of scripts to memorize. It’s a place to train. Think about your own fitness routine. You probably don’t ask yourself every morning whether exercise is important. You already know it is. Instead, your biggest question is usually, When am I going to fit it into my day?
Whatever your routine looks like, you’ve found a way to integrate movement into your life because you understand what consistent training produces. That’s the mindset we want you to bring to Risk Fitness Club.
Some days your training might look like completing a lesson. Other days it might be attending a mastermind session, posting in the community, practicing a conversation before an important meeting, or taking on a Risk Rep that stretches you beyond your comfort zone.
None of those activities feels life-changing on its own, and neither does one workout. But over time, the reps compound.
That’s why we encourage members to build Risk Fitness into their existing routines. Behavioral scientists call this habit stacking, or connecting a new habit to one you already have. Maybe you spend 20 minutes in Risk Fitness Club before opening your email each morning. Maybe you commit to leaving a comment in the community about what you’re noticing about your growth every Friday afternoon before wrapping up your week. The specific routine matters less than the consistency.
Ultimately, the value you get from Risk Fitness Club will be directly connected to the effort you put into it.
There will be weeks when you’re highly engaged and weeks when work and life demand more of your attention. That’s expected. What matters is that you keep returning to the practice and resist the temptation to treat your growth as something that happens simply because you joined.
Membership gives you the structure, resources, opportunities, and community. But no program can do the work for you. To put it plainly, you cannot expect results you are unwilling to work for.
You have to be willing to try something before you feel completely ready or participate when it would be easier to observe. You have to experiment with a new approach and pay attention to what happens or come back after a difficult conversation and unpack what you learn.
Your growth is worth showing up for. We’re here to help you do the reps and train your courage muscle.
Risk Fitness Club is the courage-obsessed, practice-focused leadership communication community for ambitious, mid-career professionals ready to own their brilliance — without apology.
